After working for three years to make the Richmond Fire District Commission meet the standards of the laws that dictate and direct the duties and responsibilities of the Fire District Commission, I resigned for two reasons. One, I met my goals in three years of my five year term. Two, it was evident that the new majority and I were at odds as to how matters should be handled. I did not want the frustration and stress I knew would be coming.
What has been happening this past year has been inexcusable, dishonest, incompetent.
